पितृदोष लाग्यो भने विवाहमा विलम्ब,विवाह पछिको सम्बन्धमा दरार, समयमा काम नहुनु वा अन्तिममा आएर काम विग्रनु ,कुलतमा फस्नु, व्यवसाय परिवर्तन भईरहनु नोकरीमा समस्या देखिरहनु, गर्भ वा गर्भधारणमा समस्या देखिनु , सुस्त मनस्थिति र दुर्वल बच्चाको जन्महुनु, जन्मिएका बालबच्चाहरु सबल नहुनु , निर्णय क्षमतामा कमी आउनु, रिसाहा तथा घमण्डी हुनु जस्ता समस्याहरू सिर्जना हुन्छन् । अतः यस्ता समस्याहरूको निवारणका लागि अनुष्ठान गर्नुपर्दछ ।
If afflicted by ancestral faults (Pitru dosha), one may encounter delays in marriage, discord in marital relationships, obstacles in work or loss of work, entanglements in legal matters, changes in business, job-related problems, difficulties in conception or pregnancy, the birth of weak or unhealthy children, children facing challenges, diminished decision-making capacity, creation of conflicts, and tendencies towards arrogance and pride. Therefore, rituals should be performed to alleviate such problems.
